If you want to arrange a visa in Zanzibar yourself keep in mind that the waiting time can be quite long. You are not the only one who wants to do this and the processing of visa applications there is not always quick.
You can also arrange a visa at the airport in Zanzibar. To do this, you will need to have a few things with you:
- A passport that is still valid for at least 6 months
- Two suitable passport photos
- A completed application form
- Copy of your ticket stating a return flight or a booking confirmation
- Cash or credit card (you can pay with both)
If you want to apply for your visa on the spot make sure you have completed the application form.
